This app works only with the Apple Watch Ultra. The Oceanic+ dive computer app is meant to keep an eye on the Ultra because it is the only one tough enough for that type of diving. If you put the Oceanic+ app on your Apple Watch Ultra, it turns into a full-fledged dive computer. This is like a Swiss Army knife for exploring the ocean floor; it’s made for swimming, scuba diving, and surface diving. There’s a pre-dive location planner that tells you about the surface and water conditions, like temperature, visibility, and currents; a planner that helps you figure out your dive’s depth and length; GPS-enhanced recording after the dive; and, of course, clear and accurate monitoring of essential metrics while you dive.
9. Gentler Streak
We’ve written about a significant change to Gentler Streak. Apple also endorsed it by showing up at this year’s WWDC keynote. New versions of watchOS and iOS are fully supported, which makes it even better.

We’ve talked about this great exercise app before, but version 3, which came out in June 2022, is a significant improvement. The most significant change is that, instead of going the other way, the Watch app now has an iPhone app that works with it. You can use this to keep track of your progress, earn achievements, and share your runs with other people. The main Watch app has been slightly redesigned, but it still does what it does best: It’s made for complete beginners who want to train for a 5K over the course of 9 weeks. It does that by planning three runs per week. When you’re done, your 5K should be over in less than 30 minutes.

The Strava app for iPhone has more features, but you can also use the Apple Watch’s built-in Workout app to track a run or ride and then use the $2.99 HealthFit app to send that information to Strava.

The software for the Apple Watch, which is now at version 8, can stream voice sounds over LTE. That means you can play Audible audiobooks on the watch. You can also move audiobooks from your phone to your Apple Watch to listen to them when you’re not online. That’s why Audible is one of the best apps for listening to books.
You will stay in your place because the watch app will sync with the iPhone app and pick up where you left off. Listeners have to pay for credits on Audible, so you can’t just take any audiobook. It is nice that the watch now lets you listen to or store audiobooks, though.
15. Apple Music
As expected, Apple has the best music app for the Apple Watch. For a monthly fee, you can listen to all of your favourite songs on your Apple Watch, but Apple Music is one of the few streaming music services that doesn’t have a free tier. As long as you have an LTE watch and a separate data plan, you can stream music even when your phone is not closed. If you work out without your iPhone, you can also add Apple Music playlists to the watch and listen to them when you’re not connected to the internet (LTE plan required). After connecting some Bluetooth headphones to the watch, you’re ready to go.
