How To Fix Twitter Something Went Wrong Try Again Error

Have you ever tried to fix a bug on Twitter, something went wrong, try again? Ever since Twitter publicly released a new user interface design, I have had a really annoying problem using my Twitter account. I get the “Something went wrong” error when I go to my profile page, read a Tweet, or check a notification. Here, the “Try again” button is also below the error message, but it didn’t fix the problem. The same “Something went wrong” error kept popping up every time I touched the button.

I’ve tried the big blue repeat button many times, but Twitter just couldn’t give up on my efforts. I also tried refreshing the web page after using the F5 key and right-clicking then selecting the reload option. I have tried refreshing or reloading the page many times, but every time my browser displays the same error “something went wrong”. Then I try to do a solid refresher. I opened the Twitter site and pressed Ctrl + F5 at the same time to reload the website from scratch without using the browser cache.

He solved the problem for a while. The Twitter website opens without an error message, but every time I try to open a page other than the notification, Twitter returns the same “Something went wrong” error message.

I never got this Twitter error message, but as my Twitter account updated to the latest interface design, I started seeing this annoying error message.

Finally, I’ll review the simple steps involved in fixing the “Something went wrong” error:

How To Fix Twitter Something Went Wrong, Try Again Error:

The wrong time or date in your web browser can prevent websites such as Twitter from seeing completely different times on their servers. Let’s see how to properly change the time and update in Windows:

Step 1:

Hit the hotkey Win+R, then enter control timedate.cpl and hit Enter.

Step 2:

In the Time or Date window, choose Internet Time and then tap on Change settings.

Step 3:

Enter pool.ntp.org in the Server field and then tap on the Update now button.

Then I tried clearing cache and cookies on twitter.com. I touched the website information icon which is in front of the website url in the Firefox address bar and clicked the “Clear cookies and site data” option below the exit.

The Delete Cookies and Site Data dialog box opens, containing all previous URLs from twitter.com. I touched the delete button to clear twitter.com data from the Firefox web browser.

Then I left the Twitter site but that solved the problem. The Twitter website now works fine in my web browser and I don’t get the “Something went wrong” error on any of the pages.

If time changes can’t sort the Twitter error message, you will need to delete the cookies from your browser (or any other web browser you are using) for Twitter as follows:

Step 1:

Visit the Twitter website in your Firefox or any browser you use.

Step 2:

Then tap on the lock icon in the address bar and choose Clear Cookies and Site Data.

Step 3:

It will display many domains in a list related to Twitter for which it is going to erase the cookies and the site data saved in the browser’s cache. Simply tap on the Remove button to continue.

Step 4:

Then restart the web browser and try to again visit the Twitter website. You might have to re-login to your Twitter account.

After these two methods given above, Twitter keeps displaying the same error, then you have to try a different web browser.

Conclusion

So when you encounter this problem in a web browser. First, try reloading the page with Ctrl + F5. If that doesn’t solve the problem then clear the cache and cookies in your web browser. Or update the date and time on your computer. Make sure that deleting cookies automatically removes you from the website.
